Very charming detached farmers house in natural stone, completely renovated, decorated and furnished.
Quiet but not isolated on its own ground of 1 ha private woodland and fields. Lots of birds, squirrels
and deer live close to the house.
Closest village is at 5 km. Here you can find the bakery, butcher, small supermarket, post office, a few restaurants as well as an English speaking doctor.
The bastide towns Monflanquin, Villereal and Monpazier offer you a wide range of shops,
restaurants with lovely terraces and all have a weekly market.
Interior
Through the entrance hall you enter the living room with satellite tv. and an big fire place. The bathroom
has a shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. The separate, fully equipped kitchen also has a fire place .
There are two bedrooms, in each one two single box springs of 90 x 200 (can be put together
for double bed), in the biggest room also a wash basin.
Exterior
Very big courtyard, faced south of 300 square meters with a roofed shed next to the old bread
oven to provide you from shadow.
There’s also a garage of 90 square meters at your disposal to park your car into the shadow.
You have your own pool of 8 x 4 mtr. at about 100 mtrs. from the house. Garden furniture,
cushions and sun beds are at your disposal.
Activities
This area of South West France offers you more then any other region of France. There are 7 golf courses under an hour away, canoeing on the Dordogne and the Lot, and riding stables nearby. You can pay a visit to the vineyards of Medoc. Bordeaux, Bergerac or Cahors.
Many chateaux to visit, chateau Biron is a must and less then 5 kmtrs away. Or make a daytrip to Domme, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Les Eyzies , Lascaux or Les Milandes (chateau of Josephine Baker). And still a mass
of little villages for you to discover.
Culinair and wine
The Perigord is famous for its kitchen, such as the foie gras and magret de canard. France is a country
of restaurants ranging from the cheap to the chic, the problem is which to go to! France is the home of
some of the worlds finest and delightful wines. Visit the local market to buy the ingredients to prepare
a tasteful
supper and enjoy it with your family or friends.
